The Banjo Babes Calendar & Album (and Tour!) is a collective, grassroots celebration of professional women banjo players. Each year, we produce a lighthearted thematic calendar, professional compilation album, and exciting annual tour!

Summer Pre-Sale Begins August 4th 

Presenting the 3rd-edition of the world's most beloved collective, grassroots celebration of professional women banjo players!

Our 2016 Theme, "Natural Beauty", will feature over a dozen incredibly talented banjo artists in a fun, thematic calendar and exciting compilation album with a track from each artist!

Summer pre-sale begins August 4th - save the date! We'll be introducing the music and preview photos of each of the artists during the month of August, where you will be able to pre-order (shipped in October of this year) your very own 2016 edition of the Banjo Babes Calendar & Album and be a part of making this project possible, yet again, for another year!

Thank you for your support, as always, as we celebrate our third year and counting!! Stay tuned!

Calling All Artists! Apps. Due June 19 


It is with great pleasure that we extend the invitation to participate in the third-annual, 2016-edition of the Banjo Babes Calendar & Album! The application form, as well as frequently asked questions about participation in the Banjo Babes collective project, is found on the Participation Page.

Applications for the 2016 edition are being received through the website on a rolling basis, now through Friday, June 19th, 2015.

Please note! Materials (i.e., photos and songs) are due no later than Friday, July 10th, 2015. More information...

2015 Tour Rolls Onward 

From Berkeley to Boston and back, the featured artists of the 2015 release of the Banjo Babes Calendar & Album have been touring across our great nation for almost two months now, sharing banjo joy with the good folks in each town.

Offering double- and triple- bills with so many amazing women who play banjo - these shows have been most epic and fund for all! Below are a few shots from the road. Thanks for joining us!

Berkeley to Boston - It's Banjo Time 

That's right folks, we're hittin' the road! The Banjo Babes 2015 National Tour is officially underway this February and March, 2015. We hope you might join us at one of our shows, and please spread the word about our show schedule to your friends and family across the nation.
